The Heart of Our Mission

Spanish for Social Justice was born from a shared belief that language is a tool for collective action. We created this space to equip New England organizers with the linguistic tools and cultural grounding necessary to build authentic solidarity. Our collaboration is rooted in the conviction that language justice is not just a service, but a fundamental pillar of community power and collective dignity.

Our Philosophy

  • Community-Centered: We prioritize language as a tool for building relationships and collective power within our local movements.
  • Justice-Driven: Our curriculum is rooted in the daily struggles for systemic change, from housing defense to labor solidarity.
  • Accessible Learning: We believe in breaking down linguistic barriers through approachable, practical, and grounded pedagogy.
